I just wanted to share with you a random act of kindness on campus today that is why we always talk about William and Mary as a community, and why I consider it my extended family.
I was standing in line to buy lunch, and the student in front of me discovered that he had run out of meals to swipe. The student that had just finished buying her meal, overhearing his predicament, quickly walked back over and said “here have one of my meals,” and then used one of her meal swipes to buy him lunch.
A simple story I know, but everytime something like that happens (and it happens a lot on our campus), I am just so proud to be part of the Tribe.
Ok, I promise a more in-depth update soon, but for now it’s back to studying for my final exam.
